Women’s Guild – Book Club

We meet from 7:30pm – 9:30pm on the 3rd Wednesday of the month in the Fireside Room. We all read the same book each month from suggestions put forward from all participants. We try to have a variety of styles (memoir, mystery, fiction, religious) and often use discussion questions that the authors themselves have provided. While the discussion questions vary in depth, we typically discuss the books in a general manner (as opposed to academically).

If we haven’t read the book, we come anyway to enjoy the laughter, friendship and yummy snacks! Currently we have approximately 15 regular attendees, who come whenever they are able – there is no mandatory attendance!  All women are welcome – we have a lot of fun!

Senior’s Exercise Program

Physical fitness is a key ingredient for a healthy lifestyle in our retirement years. This co-ed group meets for a one-hour, low impact, exercise program each Monday morning in the church hall from September to April.

Parish Breakfasts

Parish Breakfasts are a great opportunity to spend time with old friends and make new ones!

St George’s parish family and friends get together 4-5 times a year for an informal breakfast. The breakfasts are held on a Sunday from 9:00 am – 10:00 am, between the 8:15 am and 10:00 am services. The menu is usually juice, toast, eggs, French toast and pancakes.

There is no charge but a free will offering helps to defray costs. See the calendar for the next date.
