Welcome! Little Dragon is a Faith Based summer day camp where the focus is on treating everyone with respect and acceptance. The children learn to understand that each one of us has gifts and talents that God has blessed us with.

This year at Camp Little Dragon we will get ready to experience the most amazing community get-together under the sun with "Baobab Blast". We will learn to:

• Trust with Faye the Zebra.
• Love with Amy the Monkey.
• Follow with Bud the Elephant.
• Care with Sam the Meerkat.
• Share with Jonathan the Giraffe.

Our hall will have a baobab tree which is a symbol of community. New songs will be learned along with plenty of craft creations. There will be stories, outside recreation time and games.

Your child will enjoy our summer day camp while you are busy either at work or at play!

Your child will have the opportunity to participate in:

• Swimming once a week
• Water games once a week
• Arts and crafts each day
• Sing-Songs
• Outdoor games
• Visitors to camp and/or off-site trips within our community
• Making new friends

Our camp provides:

• 1 counsellor for every 6 campers
• A variety of activities for children ages 5 to 12 years
• Camp counsellors are trained in first aid and camp activities
• Energetic staff that participate with and enjoy the campers.
• A limited number of partial and full bursaries for families who are experiencing financial difficulty
• The weeks of July 19 – 23 and August 16 – August 20, we will be having some special activities for 9-12 year old campers.

Hours Of Our Camp:

Camp program runs from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Extended care offered from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. and/or from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. for a small fee.

Fees:

$125.00 per week, per child.
Extended care $4.00 per day or $2.00 for 8 - 9 a.m. or $2.00 for 5 - 6 p.m.
