Our mandate is to coordinate the Time, Talent and Treasure of our parish family.

We are responsible for fund raising and communications activities within and outside of St George's (which includes our parish newsletter St George's Dragon Flyer)  and staffing those committees .

Currently our committee is very active. We are working on ways to attract and welcome those looking for a parish family; we have kicked-off a Parents and Tots weekday get together for parents looking for some adult companionship; initiated a review of our Parish Vision - where are we going and how will we know when we get there?, and completed a major revision and update of our church web-site. Another new and exciting plan we are working on is to launch a Saturday evening Contemporary Worship Service in the Fall of 2008.

Parish Vision

Several years ago interested members of the St George's family got together and developed a Vision for St Georges. It covered a number of areas, including Outreach.

On May 2, 2008, congregation members met again for wine and work! We reviewed the Vision plan so that we could see what we had accomplished, and to re-initiate what remains to be done. For details and a report of this meeting, please see the "Parish Check-Up".
