Families

St. George's welcomes all families, of all shapes and sizes! We want all members of your family to feel welcome, from the oldest to the very youngest. We have a strong children's program, where children spend some of their time at Sunday School, and some of their time in the church with their families.

Sunday School

Sunday School is offered in conjunction with the 10:00 worship service from September to June, for children Preschool (age 3) to Grade 6. Our Sunday School Page has all the details of our current topic, and our schedule for the next few weeks. Come on out and give us a try! New friends are always welcome!

Nursery

Sitting in church through a whole service can be very difficult for a small child! So at St George's we provide a nursery for children up to and including 3 years of age. The nursery is staffed every Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m by an outgoing, competent, reliable young lady. There are many toys, games, puzzles etc. available to let even the busiest boy or girl enjoy themselves. Babes in arms are welcome and receive very close attention with a crib and playpen available.

We welcome anyone with small children to take advantage of the nursery on any Sunday or just drop in to have a look. We are sure your child will have a ball.

Programs for Children and Families

Parent and Tot Program - A Play Group for Children up to Age 4

Housebound? Want some adult conversation? Join us on Tuesdays from 9:30 am to 11:30 am in the church hall. You will find toys, coffee, new friends and conversation.

Everyone is welcome: this is a non-denominational opportunity to meet in an informal, friendly and free place for a few hours each week - a social time for parents/ grandparents/ caregivers to have coffee and companionship.

Little Dragon Summer Day Camp

Little Dragon Day Camp is a Faith based summer day camp where the focus is on treating everyone with respect and acceptance. The children learn to understand that each one of us has gifts and talents that God has blessed us with.

This year at Camp Little Dragon we will "Swing into a Rainforest Adventure" with Shari the Butterfly, Bill the Toucan, Tad the Frog, Esme the Macaw and Cleo the Monkey. Find out more...
