Youth Minister - Kendra Kovats Hello! My name is Kendra Kovats and I am the newly appointed Youth Minister at St. George's. I am overjoyed to begin this exciting journey with the youth of this parish. I thought I would also give you a little bit of information about me. I was raised in the Anglican Church and have always been an active member within the church and the community. I have a University degree in Child, Youth and Family Studies, as well as a Bachelor degree in Education. I am also certified in American Sign Language from Conestoga College. |
I have had many meaningful experiences working with children and youth in capacities such as; Therapist with children with autism, Teacher, "Big" sister, Educational Assistant, Camp counselor and various other roles. I am currently living in Waterloo, I love to read and I cherish all of the important relationships in my life. I am so excited to begin programming for the dynamic youth of this parish and I encourage all of the young people to become active in youth events. |
