St. George’s of Forest Hill Anglican Church is a dynamic, thriving, Christ-based community, where individuals, regardless of who they are, are welcomed as part of a loving, caring parish family. We invite you to visit and give us a look! We offer:
- a variety of worship services on Sunday at 8:15 and 10:00 am and a mid-week service on Wednesday at 10:00 am. During the Summer, the Sunday service is at 9:00 am.
- A lively, well-staffed Church School and Nursery for those with children
- senior and junior choirs to enhance our worship
- book clubs, study groups, Altar Guild, Family nights, barbeques, small group ministries and youth group …. something for everyone!
Stewardship: At St George’s we aim to engage and encourage Parishioners to share their time, talent and treasure to support our faith and evangelical activities and events.
Atmosphere Committee: To act as a conduit to promote activities that will foster a welcoming, inclusive faith community for all Parishioners and newcomers.
Communication Committee: To co-ordinate efficient and effective internal and external communication and promotion using print, digital, social media and electronic instruments.
Finance Committee: To provide understand-able financial information to help parish Vestry, Executive and Committees make decisions.
Social Justice: To encourage and facilitate the social justice concerns of individual parishioners and determine appropriate actions to be taken.
