Worship
All people are welcome to attend worship services at St. George’s. We observe the liturgical seasons and traditions of the Anglican Church during our worship services. Every Sunday from the beginning of September until the end of June we offer 2 worship services, which are held at 8:15 a.m. and 10 a.m. In July and August we celebrate at a single service at 9 a.m. We also celebrate the Eucharist/Communion on Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. in our Chapel.
Worship Committee Mandate: Plan and Co-ordinate regular and special Parish Worship activities.
Regular Worship Services – September to June
- Sunday 8:15 a.m. Holy Eucharist
- Sunday 10:00 a.m. Choral Holy Eucharist
- Wednesday 10 a.m. Holy Eucharist
Summer at St. George’s
In the summer we celebrate only one Sunday service at 9 a.m. The services vary, some use the Book of Common Prayer (B.C.P.) and others the Book of Alternative Services (B.A.S.) Eucharist. Children are always welcome at St. George’s, but there is no church school or supervised nursery during the summer service.
